چکیده
Abstract We study whether it is possible to apply twisted Laplace spectra (and, if so, how many are necessary) deduce isometry of some well-known examples isospectral manifolds in the literature, due Schüth (simply connected manifolds), Ikeda (lens spaces), Vignéras/Linowitz and Voight (arithmetic surfaces), Milnor (lattice examples), Doyle Rossetti (Tetra Didi), Sunada (based on group-theoretical from Gerst, Gaßmann Komatsu), Brooks Tse (surfaces small genus, Riemann surfaces genus), Barden Kang genus two), Miatello (flat for all twists by linear characters).

Examples concerning Abel and Cesàro limits
This note describes examples of all possible equality and strict inequality relations between upper and lower Abel and Cesàro limits of sequences bounded above or below. It also provides applications to Markov Decision Processes.
متن کاملTwo examples concerning almost continuous functions
In this note we will construct, under the assumption that union of less than continuum many meager subsets of R is meager in R, an additive connectivity function f : R → R with Cantor intermediate value property which is not almost continuous. This gives a partial answer to a question of D. Banaszewski [2]. (See also [12, Question 5.5].) We will also show that every extendable function g : R → ...
متن کاملSome Examples and Remarks Concerning Groups
We present some examples and remarks which may be helpful to those who are dealing with an abstract algebra or a first semester group theory course. Alternating groups, dihedral groups, and symmetric groups of small orders are treasure troves of elementary examples and counter examples concerning groups. متن کاملA Conservation Result concerning Bounded Theofues and the Collection Axiom
We present two proofs, one proof-theoretic and one model-theoretic, showing that 0 adding the BE1-collection axioms to any bounded first-order theory R of arithmetic 0 yields an extension which is VC1-conservative over R. Preliminaries. A theory of arithmetic R contains the non-logic symbols 0, S, +, = , and 6 . R may contain further non-logical symbols; in particular, S2 is a theory of arithme...
